A runway covered in ice surrounded by snow. You can see the snow banks on the taxiway around the runway. This picture is taken from about 600 feet up so the snow banks look a lot smaller than they actually are. Braking action is not good when a runway is covered in ice. If you come in too fast of land to far down the runway, you will go off the end!
